The first X-Men movie was released on my birthday. I was DYING to see it, being a big huge comics geek, so my husband bought advance tickets for us as a birthday present.

Me: "BEST PRESENT EVER!!! BEST HUSBAND EVER!!!!"

Husband's female co-workers: (sarcastic tone) "Oh, sure she wanted to see that for her birthday!"

:sigh:

I totally love Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. As a women, it completes all my emotional needs because women are more emotional. We need movies that will show a character's growth as a young women with all her trial and tribulations.

Someone I know prefers Barbwire and I could see how this could be emotional, too. Pamela Anderson gets stuck in a metal box but she is determined to get out. With all her womanly courage, she gets out and learns her true destiny. Oh yeah, as a reward to herself, she gets a boob job. How sweet! Everytime she looks down, she knows she can survive any situation in life.
